MKM Group of Colleges For Girls Visit to World Book Fair 2026
Students of MKM Group of Colleges For Girls had the enriching opportunity to visit the prestigious New Delhi World Book Fair 2026, one of the largest literary events in the world. The visit was organized as part of the institution’s commitment to promoting reading culture, intellectual curiosity, and exposure to global literature among students.
The book fair was held from 10th to 18th January 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Organized by the National Book Trust, India, the fair hosted more than 1,000 publishers from over 35 countries and featured hundreds of literary events, discussions, book launches, and cultural programs.
Educational Exposure for Students
The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to explore a wide variety of books across different genres including literature, science, history, technology, self-development, and competitive exam preparation. Students interacted with publishers, authors, and fellow book enthusiasts, gaining insights into the publishing industry and the evolving world of literature.
The fair also featured several thematic pavilions, exhibitions, and author sessions that encouraged students to engage with ideas, creativity, and knowledge beyond the classroom.
