VOCATIONAL EDUCATION FOR GIRLS

Vocational Education or Vocational Education and Training (VET), also called Career and Technical Education (CTE), prepares learners for jobs that are based in manual or practical activities, traditionally non-academic and totally related to a specific trade, occupation or vocation, hence the term, in which the learner participates. It is sometimes referred to as technical education, as the learner directly develops expertise in a particular group of techniques or technology. MKM College of Vocational Education for Girls are also offering the various courses wiz. Stenography (English), Cutting Tailoring & Dress Making, Beauty Culture & Hair Care and Secretarial Practice for making the students skillful.  

Scope of Vocational Education

Vocational education helps to prepare students for a specific career. This type of education can take place in trade schools, technical schools or on-the-job training programs. These trades or crafts include, but are not limited to, plumbing, nursing and architecture. After completion the vocational courses a student can be trained in a specific stream as per the need of the industry.
